Gerflor USA is looking for a positive, detail oriented, team player to join our team and take advantage of this exciting opportunity!</p><p>The Tool &amp; Die Apprentice will learn and assist in the building, maintenance, and repair of injection molds under the guidance of experienced Tool &amp; Die Makers. This role focuses on developing foundational skills in machining, mold repair, inspection, and documentation while supporting Production, Maintenance, and R&amp;D teams.</p><p>The apprentice will gain hands-on experience with welding, brazing, machining processes, and mold teardown/assembly, while learning to interpret drawings and follow standard procedures.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Your Day to Day</strong></p><ul><li>Assist with preventive maintenance and basic repairs on injection molds</li><li>Support disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and reassembly of tooling</li><li>Learn to identify molding issues and assist in basic troubleshooting</li><li>Assist in machining and restoring mold components to required specifications</li><li>Help perform teardown, cleaning, and inspection of mold components</li><li>Learn to measure and document repairs and modifications accurately</li><li>Assist in building and fitting parts under supervision</li><li>Support tool corrections and learn to interpret drawings and specifications</li><li>Assist engineering team with documentation and CAD-related tasks as needed</li><li>Maintain clean and organized work areas (housekeeping duties)</li></ul><p><strong>What We Would Love About You</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Familiar with mechanical tools, machining concepts, or manufacturing environments</li><li>Some experience (academic, technical training, or hands-on) in machining, tool &amp; die, or related field preferred</li><li>Familiar with or exposure to injection molding concepts is a plus</li><li>Basic familiarity with machine shop equipment such as milling machines, lathes, grinders, or CNC equipment (training provided)</li></ul><p><strong>What You Would Love About Us</strong></p><p>We offer GREAT benefits including:</p><ul><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability Insurances - even Pet Insurance!</li><li>401K with generous company match</li><li>Paid Time Off + Company paid Holidays</li><li>Service Awards, Birthday recognition</li><li>Financial wellness planning (Employer paid!)</li></ul><p><strong>Company Overview</strong></p><ul><li>Gerflor USA specializes in creating and manufacturing innovative, decorative, and eco-responsible flooring and interior finish solutions.
