    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong></p>\n<p>NOV is currently recruiting a <strong>Service Technician</strong> to perform downhole tool dismantling, cleaning, inspection, assembling, testing, repairs, and other duties associated with the service center in Nisku, AB.&nbsp; <strong>Dayshift 6am - 2:30pm</strong></p>\n<p><i><strong>This position is classified as safety sensitive, and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre-employment testing.</strong></i></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Safely dismantle, clean, inspect, assemble, repair, test and paint downhole tools per NOV standards of quality of safety</li>\n <li>Ensure that all serviced tools are in acceptable working order and maintained/serviced per NOV procedures</li>\n <li>Complete all necessary documentation and data entry during service process.</li>\n <li>Perform equipment inspections as per required procedures</li>\n <li>Maintain 5S / housekeeping of work area</li>\n <li>Communicate to Management any issues with equipment, tools, inspections, and HSE concerns</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Highschool Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Mechanically Inclined</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong work ethic with multi-tasking abilities</li>\n <li>Mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail</li>\n <li>Demonstrates a positive attitude with the desire to be a team-player</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a shop environment and conduct physical activities such as lifting, crouching, reaching, and standing for periods of time</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>This position is classified as safety sensitive, and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre-employment testing.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Preferred method of application and to view all opportunities visit:</strong>&nbsp; <a href=\"https://www.nov.com/Careers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><u>https://www.nov.com/Careers</u></a></p>\n<p><strong>NOV is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination or Harassment of Any Kind</strong>: NOV is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunities for everyone and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
