This position plays a key role in maintaining the quality, appearance, and performance of customer and dealership boats across our Lake Winnipesaukee locations. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently in a team environment, and is passionate about the boating industry. We have a brand new fiberglass repair facility that you will love working in.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Major Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></u></p><p>· Perform fiberglass and gelcoat repairs on a variety of boats, including pontoons, bowriders, cruisers, and wake boats.</p><p>· Repair cosmetic and structural damage including cracks, gouges, dock rash, stress fractures, and water intrusion.</p><p>· Sand, grind, laminate, fill, fair, buff, and finish fiberglass surfaces to factory-quality standards.</p><p>· Color-match and apply gelcoat finishes.</p><p>· Prepare boats for delivery, detailing, and customer pickup.</p><p>· Inspect completed repairs to ensure high-quality workmanship.</p><p>· Maintain tools, materials, and a clean work area.</p><p>· Follow all safety procedures and proper handling of fiberglass materials and chemicals.</p><p>· Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and management to meet repair schedules and customer expectations.</p><p>· Assist with additional marine service tasks when needed during peak boating season.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>About Irwin Marine</strong></u></p><p>Irwin Marine is one of New Hampshire’s leading boat dealerships and marine service providers, serving the Lake Winnipesaukee region with boat sales, service, storage, rentals, and marina operations.
