If you&rsquo;re looking to be part of a dynamic, growing company where creativity, collaboration, and Southern charm come to life, Spartina 449 is the place for you!</span></p><p><strong>SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE</strong></p><p>The Senior Accountant will support inventory accounting, analysis and reporting across our omnichannel business (retail, e-commerce, and wholesale). This role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory accounting, reliable reporting, and strong data integrity across systems and locations, including our 3PL and retail stores. This role will play a key part in improving and stabilizing inventory processes, systems, and reporting as the company continues to scale, including identifying root causes of discrepancies and supporting sustainable solutions.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&bull; Own inventory accounting and reconciliations across all locations (3PL, retail, and in-transit)</p><p>&bull; Ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, returns, and adjustments</p><p>&bull; Perform monthly inventory-to-general ledger reconciliations and investigate discrepancies</p><p>&bull; Support efforts to identify and resolve inventory differences across systems and locations</p><p>&bull; Assist in improving inventory processes, reporting, and internal controls</p><p>&bull; Develop and maintain daily and monthly inventory reporting and dashboards</p><p>&bull; Generate and support COGS and landed cost analysis</p><p>&bull; Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to improve inventory accuracy and visibility</p><p>&bull; Support month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis</p><p>&bull; Work with large datasets and perform ad hoc analysis to support decision-making</p><p>&bull; Perform other balance sheet reconciliations as needed</p><p>&bull; Assist in the management of Fixed Assets as needed</p><p><strong>General Accounting / Retail Support:</strong></p><p>&bull; Assist in performing various accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts receivable, account payable, treasury, journal entries, financial reporting, etc.</p><p>&bull; Support financial audits including documentation retention, procedure requests, etc.</p><p>&bull; Partner and support Director of Finance/Accounting on ad hoc projects</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p>&bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Finance</p><p>&bull; 5&ndash;8+ years of inventory, cost accounting, or related experience</p><p>&bull; Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred)</p><p>&bull; Experience with multi-location inventory environments and/or 3PLs</p><p>&bull; Strong understanding of inventory flows, COGS, and SKU structures</p><p>&bull; Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets</p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><p>&bull; CPA or CPA candidate</p><p>&bull; Experience in omnichannel environments (retail, wholesale, e-commerce)</p><p>&bull; Experience with global sourcing and landed cost accounting</p><p>&bull; Experience building reporting and dashboards</p><p><strong>Key Competencies:</strong></p><p>&bull; Comfortable and confident to dive into omnichannel systems and data flows</p><p>&bull; Strong analytical thinker with ability to identify discrepancies and trends</p><p>&bull; Proven ability working cross-functionally with Operations and Supply Chain</p><p>&bull; Process improvement mindset with focus on efficiency and scalability</p><p>&bull; Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity</p><p>&bull; Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset</p><p><strong>Success Metrics:</strong></p><p>&bull; Accurate and reconciled inventory balances by SKU and location</p><p>&bull; Reliable daily and monthly inventory reporting</p><p>&bull; Reduction in inventory discrepancies across systems and locations</p><p>&bull; Improved visibility into inventory and operational decision-making</p><p>&bull; Timely and accurate month-end close</p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibility:</strong></p><p>&bull; No direct supervisory responsibility at this time</p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Medical/Dental/Vision/Company Match 401K/paid time off/Great employee discount!&nbsp;</em></strong></p></div>\n",
