As the first hospital in Dubuque, Finley has a long tradition of providing compassionate, quality health care in the communities we serve. Finley grew from a physician–led residential facility to a 126-bed, fully accredited hospital, and now, to a regional healthcare system that includes not only hospital services, but clinic and home services as well.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunity to help grow a new practice </li>\n <li>Strong Physician support</li>\n <li>Current team consists of 1 Neurosurgeon and 1 PA</li>\n <li>Full-time position with opportunity to work in both the inpatient and outpatient setting </li>\n <li>Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Average of 10-15 patients per day on the outpatient side; 3-5 when on inpatient service </li>\n <li>Clinic hours: Monday through Friday 8a-5p</li>\n <li>Some backup call and weekend rounding may be required once fully trained</li>\n <li>Practice is a mix of inpatient and outpatient </li>\n <li>Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve</li>\n <li>APP will also assist Physician in the OR</li>\n <li>Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care</li>\n <li>Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment</li>\n <li>Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Physician Assistant (Preferred) or Nurse Practitioner with OR experience</li>\n <li>Board Certified</li>\n <li>Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of IA </li>\n <li>Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice</li>\n <li>Eligible to work in the United States</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>We offer</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Salary based position with performance incentive </li>\n <li>A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in. </li>\n <li>Generous time off and CME allowance, malpractice insurance, retirement contributions and more </li>\n <li>Dedicated provider resources to positively impact providers work-life balance</li>\n <li>Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness, including a free third-party service for loan restructuring and consolidation. </li>\n <li>A commitment to ensuring you have a voice that is heard regardless of role, race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. </li>\n <li>Support and development opportunities that are a crucial part of delivering a remarkable employment experience. </li>\n <li>A culture guided by uncompromising values and unwavering belief in doing what’s right for the people we serve.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Community Details</strong></p>\n<p>The community of Dubuque has grown into a city with small-town roots.
