    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Nemours is seeking a Medical Assistant II (Primary Care, St. Cloud), FULL-TIME, to join our Primary Care team in&nbsp;St. Cloud, Florida.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>\n<p>The MA II is an important liaison between the patient/family, provider, and other care team members. The MA II is responsible for coordinating patient flow by assisting in clinical data collection and review for patient intake, ensuring the appropriate information is available to the provider, and entering pertinent history in the medical record. The MA II performs and assists with clinical procedures in accordance with divisional/department responsibilities as directed by the provider and per protocol.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Nemours primary care practices provide a kid-friendly, family-centered pediatric primary care experience for families in Central Florida. With 20 primary care and three urgent care practices conveniently located throughout the region, we provide quality, professional pediatric services with special attention on preventive care and whole-child wellness.</p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Medical Assistant II:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated proficiency in clinical and administrative tasks.</li>\n <li>MA Certification required (see below) and MA school preferred.</li>\n <li>Acceptable certifications are Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) and Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)</li>\n <li>American Heart Association BLS Certification within 90 days of hire date.</li>\n <li>Ability to mentor and train new Medical Assistants.</li>\n <li>Travel to other locations is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive base compensation in the top quartile of the market</li>\n <li>Annual incentive compensation that values clinical activity, academic accomplishments and quality improvement</li>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits: health, life, dental, vision</li>\n <li>403B with employer match</li>\n <li>Licensure, CME and dues allowance</li>\n <li>Not-for-profit status; eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness</li>\n <li>For those living and working in Florida, enjoy the benefit of no state income tax.
