This position requires exceptional systems thinking, technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and engineering judgment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Systems Engineer Level 6 will help shape the future direction of AI-enabled mission capabilities while ensuring solutions remain trustworthy, operationally relevant, scalable, and aligned with evolving mission objectives.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Security Clearance Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>This position requires all candidates to be <strong>U.S. Citizens </strong>and <strong>possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Enterprise Systems Engineering Leadership</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Apply advanced systems engineering principles throughout the system lifecycle, including concept development, requirements analysis, architecture development, integration, verification, validation, deployment, operations, sustainment, and retirement.</li>\n <li>Lead engineering activities involving complex, enterprise-impacting mission capabilities.</li>\n <li>Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholder organizations.</li>\n <li>Establish technical approaches, methodologies, and engineering strategies for mission-critical initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>AI Architecture, Standards & Governance</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead development of enterprise-level standards supporting human-in-the-loop and human-on-the-loop AI systems.</li>\n <li>Advise government leadership on AI systems integration, governance, trustworthiness, and operational implementation strategies.</li>\n <li>Develop architectural approaches that balance mission effectiveness, automation, user trust, and operational constraints.</li>\n <li>Evaluate and recommend technical standards, governance models, and engineering practices supporting AI-enabled mission systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Test, Evaluation & Trustworthiness Frameworks</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Direct development and implementation of frameworks used to assess AI system trustworthiness, effectiveness, transparency, and operational suitability.</li>\n <li>Lead evaluation efforts involving complex mission and technical trade-offs.</li>\n <li>Ensure engineering products, assessments, and recommendations maintain technical integrity and mission relevance.</li>\n <li>Approve delivery of major engineering work products and technical recommendations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Advisory Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as a senior engineering advisor to government leadership and key stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Lead executive-level technical briefings, working groups, and decision forums.</li>\n <li>Communicate complex engineering concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.</li>\n <li>Facilitate alignment among mission, engineering, operational, and leadership stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Innovation & Technical Problem Solving</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Independently resolve complex engineering challenges requiring advanced technical expertise.</li>\n <li>Lead analysis of alternatives involving emerging technologies and mission-critical systems.</li>\n <li>Identify opportunities for innovation, modernization, and capability advancement. </li>\n <li>Serve as a recognized subject matter expert within one or more engineering disciplines.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.</li>\n <li>Minimum of twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience supporting complex technical programs, consistent with SE Level VI requirements.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience leading large-scale systems engineering initiatives across multiple lifecycle phases and organizational boundaries.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert within one or more engineering disciplines.</li>\n <li>Experience developing enterprise-level engineering strategies, architectures, standards, or governance frameworks.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to independently resolve highly complex engineering issues and provide authoritative technical recommendations.</li>\n <li>Experience advising senior leadership on technical strategy, risk, and capability development.</li>\n <li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level briefings and stakeholder engagement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) programs.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), autonomous systems, advanced analytics, or emerging technology initiatives.</li>\n <li>Experience developing enterprise AI governance, trustworthiness, testing, evaluation, or standards frameworks.</li>\n <li>Experience shaping technical direction across multiple programs, organizations, or mission areas.</li>\n <li>Master's degree or PhD in a related technical discipline.</li>\n <li>Experience serving as a Chief Engineer, Lead Systems Engineer, Technical Director, or equivalent senior engineering role. </li>\n <li>Experience supporting strategic technology transformation initiatives within mission
