Do you have a background in psychology, behavioral science, social work, or a related field? If so, New Haven Residential Treatment Center in Spanish Fork, Utah, invites you to explore a unique opportunity to lead with purpose.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Clinical Therapist you will lead therapeutic efforts for adolescent girls ages 12–17, providing clinical guidance, supporting staff development, and engaging families in a healing process that addresses trauma, emotional regulation, and relational challenges in a nurturing, home-like environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a mission-driven team dedicated to transformative, family-centered care</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Individual Sessions:</strong> Conduct individual therapeutic sessions with students to address and explore their unique needs, challenges, and emotional well-being.</li>\n <li><strong>Family Sessions:</strong> Facilitate family therapy sessions involving students and their parents to foster open communication, resolve family dynamics, and promote healing.</li>\n <li><strong>Group Therapy Leadership:</strong> Lead specialized group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment among students, encouraging personal growth and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li><strong>Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning:</strong> Participate in weekly interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for students.</li>\n <li><strong>Clinical Meetings and Supervision:</strong> Engage in regular clinical meetings and supervision sessions, contributing to ongoing professional development, sharing insights, and receiving guidance.</li>\n <li><strong>Documentation and Charting:</strong> Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapeutic sessions and student progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.</li>\n <li><strong>Family Weekend Involvement:</strong> Actively participate in family weekends, offering therapeutic support to families, and contributing to the overall healing process.</li>\n <li><strong>Camping Trips:</strong> Organize and lead two-day camping trips twice a year, providing opportunities for experiential learning, building relationships within families, and creating memorable therapeutic experiences.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education Required:</strong> Master’s degree in a behavioral science field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling.</li>\n <li><strong>Licensure Preferred:</strong> Fully licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC); associate licensure (CSW, AMFT, ACMHC) also accepted.</li>\n <li><strong>Therapeutic Passion:</strong> Committed to client growth through collaborative, team-based care.</li>\n <li><strong>Clinical Experience:</strong> Preferred two years of therapy experience, including individual, family, and group sessions.</li>\n <li><strong>Residential Expertise:</strong> One year of experience in a residential setting using relational and experiential modalities is a plus.</li>\n <li><strong>Professional Readiness:</strong> Skilled in treatment planning and adjustment; must pass a state background check.</li>\n <li><strong>Credentialing Preparedness:</strong> Must have or be willing to create a CAQH profile and obtain an NPI number.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong>New Haven is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.</strong> We are committed to enriching the therapeutic and healing experience we offer through the diversity of our employees and community.
