    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p><strong>This role offers a hybrid work arrangement. You'll spend three days a week in the office, giving you the flexibility to work remotely for two days.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>- This position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your drafting skills, while working in a multi-disciplined team environment with other designers and/or engineers in the preparation of design drawings based on design input.</p>\n<p>- You will have the opportunity to apply your computer-aided drafting skills, while receiving hands-on training in 3D design software environments, such as AutoCAD 3D and/or MicroStation. Additionally, you will receive training in Sargent & Lundy’s award-winning, industry-recognized proprietary design databases.</p>\n<p>- You will be involved in creating master sketches to scale showing relation of proposed installations to existing facilities and exact specifications and dimensions.</p>\n<p>- You may accompany and assist experienced designers on walkdowns at client facilities to gather information for your design project.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>- While interfacing with vendors and construction contractors, you may be given the opportunity to explain your drawings so appropriate design adjustments can be made. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Qualifications also include the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>An Associates Degree in Drafting or equivalent technical experience.</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of computer drafting tools (i.e. AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).</li>\n <li>Ability to visualize Equipment Details, Phase to Ground and Phase to Phase Clearances.</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task from project to project.</li>\n <li>Ability to visualize parts in 3D without the aid of a computer.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Valued Knowledge/Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>An Associates Degree in Computer Aided Design.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Bentley Substation Design</li>\n <li>Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, including the ability to relate various equipment to a technical design.</li>\n <li>Experience in Physical and P&C design work. </li>\n <li>Experience in 3D design work. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Award-Winning Benefits</h2>\n<p>At Sargent & Lundy, we care about the health and well-being of our employees.
