Their experience, practical knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills will ensure that the aircraft are maintained in an airworthy and dispatch ready status at all times.</span></p><h1 style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">ESSENTIAL&nbsp;DUTIES&nbsp;AND&nbsp;RESPONSIBILITIES</span></h1><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Provide&nbsp;line&nbsp;maintenance,&nbsp;line&nbsp;servicing&nbsp;and&nbsp;inspection&nbsp;level&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;tasks&nbsp;as&nbsp;assigned.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Ensure the work accomplished on any aircraft or component is in compliance with:<ul style=\"font-size: initial;\"><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Applicable airworthiness standards and OEM instructions</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Company&nbsp;Policies&nbsp;and&nbsp;Procedures</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Regulated safety standards</li></ul></li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Ensure&nbsp;that&nbsp;all&nbsp;replacement&nbsp;parts&nbsp;are&nbsp;inspected,&nbsp;eligible,&nbsp;and&nbsp;properly&nbsp;certified&nbsp;prior&nbsp;to&nbsp;installation</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Ensure&nbsp;that&nbsp;removed&nbsp;parts&nbsp;are&nbsp;properly&nbsp;tagged&nbsp;and&nbsp;routed&nbsp;to&nbsp;quarantine</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Carry out maintenance,&nbsp;repair, modification&nbsp;and daily inspection&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;company aircraft&nbsp;as detailed in the company maintenance control manual</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Complete&nbsp;and&nbsp;certify&nbsp;work&nbsp;reports&nbsp;for&nbsp;all&nbsp;work&nbsp;accomplished&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;aircraft</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Follow&nbsp;company&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;as&nbsp;per&nbsp;the&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;control&nbsp;manual&nbsp;using&nbsp;safe&nbsp;work&nbsp;practices</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Carry&nbsp;out&nbsp;both&nbsp;line&nbsp;and&nbsp;heavy&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;activities&nbsp;in&nbsp;accordance&nbsp;with&nbsp;operational&nbsp;standards</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Carry&nbsp;out&nbsp;Independent&nbsp;Checks&nbsp;when&nbsp;authorized&nbsp;as&nbsp;per&nbsp;company&nbsp;policies&nbsp;and&nbsp;procedures</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Carry&nbsp;out&nbsp;Receiving&nbsp;Inspections&nbsp;when&nbsp;authorized,&nbsp;as&nbsp;per&nbsp;company&nbsp;policies&nbsp;and&nbsp;procedures</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Perform&nbsp;related&nbsp;duties&nbsp;as&nbsp;assigned&nbsp;by&nbsp;supervisor.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Maintain&nbsp;compliance&nbsp;with&nbsp;all&nbsp;company&nbsp;policies&nbsp;and&nbsp;procedures.</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>SKILLS AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Proven track record of success working on complex assignments requiring considerable judgment, initiative and technical/specialized knowledge&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while fostering a positive attitude.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Must have strong problem-solving abilities&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Proficient in the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills/&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Must demonstrate safe and healthy workplace practices&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Must be able to travel within the US and internationally.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities of an Aircraft Technician II in daily work performance.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Must be able to work in various weather environments and conditions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and not be barred from any installation.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">USAF 5 level or equivalent with progressive and documented experience.&nbsp;</li></ul><h1 style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">CERTIFICATIONS,&nbsp;LICENSES,&nbsp;REGISTRATIONS</span></h1><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A&amp;P) license/certification preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who hold this certification or are able to will obtain within 6 months of hire.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">Inspection Authorization (IA) certification a plus</li></ul><h1 style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">EDUCATION&nbsp;AND/OR&nbsp;WORK&nbsp;EXPERIENCE</span></h1><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">High&nbsp;school&nbsp;diploma&nbsp;or&nbsp;GED&nbsp;required</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1;\">A minimum of 7 years direct maintenance experience and training on F-16 aircraft.</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong><em>&nbsp;</em></span></p><p style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">The Aircraft Technician II must be able to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, talk, walk, hear, see, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. &nbsp;This position requires close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
