Please know you may not be contacted immediately and is based upon need for the term.&nbsp;</strong></span> &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong><br>An Associate Faculty member is a part time employee hired to teach specific course(s) during an academic session or term on a part-time basis. As an instructor, the Associate Faculty member&#39;s primary duty is to convey the course material so that students can attain the instructional Outcomes of the course.<br>The Associate Faculty member&#39;s minimum obligation to the University is to fulfill the requirements specified for each course and comply with the University&#39;s procedures and regulations.<br><br><strong><ins>Essential Functions</ins></strong><br><br><strong>Under the direction of the PC or APC:</strong><br><br><strong>Facilitate Class Instruction.&nbsp;</strong>The Associate Faculty member is responsible for teaching the assigned class in accordance with learning outcomes and syllabi specified by the Assistant/ Program Chair of the area and by Post University.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Classroom Management:&nbsp;</strong>The Associate Faculty member is responsible for adhering to all Post University policies and guidelines as they pertain to course conduct and academic expectations for engagement. As the primary contact with student in the course, the Associate Faculty member is expected to work closely with the Assistant/Program Chair and Student Advising to address areas of concern.<br><br><strong>Evaluate Student Performance.</strong> The Associate Faculty member is expected to administer evaluations of student performance based on course deliverables and course rubrics. All interim course grades will be posted on the Blackboard Grade Center. Final course grades will be posted into the University&rsquo;s system known as WebReg.<br><br><strong>Adhere to Course Guidelines.</strong> The Associate Faculty member is responsible for participation in any discussion boards, class discussions and chat sessions as determined by the course. The Assistant/Program Chair shall set the required minimum, but it should be recognized that Post University in general requires all Instructors to fully engage students and maintains a high-touch effort with students.<br><br><strong>Respond Promptly to Grade Determination.</strong> The Associate Faculty member should submit grades for any assignments, discussion board exercises, and exams and course completion according to the established requirements.<br><br><strong>Input Final Grades in WebReg and into the Blackboard Grade Center (if applicable).</strong><br><br><strong>Participate and coordinate end of class &ldquo;close the loop&rdquo; meetings with APM as required.</strong> &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br>All Associate Faculty must have as a minimum, a Master&rsquo;s degree and significant related experience in their area of instruction. In addition, each Associate Faculty member must have college transcripts (official) on file with Associate Experience in order to be considered for employment.
