    "description": "<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>BayCare Medical Group </strong>is a physician-led medical group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will manage complex GI, hepatobiliary, and nutritional disorders in children—from infancy through adolescence—across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric GI conditions, including IBS, IBD, celiac disease, reflux, hepatology, nutritional disorders, and motility issues.</li>\n <li><p>Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures: upper/lower GI endoscopy, polypectomy, foreign body removal, liver biopsies, G‑tube placements, motility studies.</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide comprehensive inpatient consultation and manage ambulatory clinics in both main and satellite locations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborate with dietitians, surgeons, psychologists, hepatologists, primary care providers, and allied health professionals.</p></li>\n <li><p>Engage in education—mentoring pediatric residents.</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide on-call coverage 1:3 for emergencies, including foreign body ingestion, GI bleeding, and liver crises.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>St. Joseph's Hospital, part of BayCare Health System, is a 465-bed Level II trauma hospital in beautiful Tampa, Florida.
