    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>NOV Texas Oil Tools, the leading specialty manufacturer and supplier of well control equipment for intervention operations, is seeking a Service Technician for its Odessa, Texas location.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiar with Coiled Tubing Pressure Control&nbsp;Equipment (CTPCE)&nbsp;and fully conversant with the assembly drawings and bill of materials – using only approved versions.</li>\n <li>Responsible for the safe assembly, testing and repair of assigned pressure control (CTPCE) under the direction of the supervisor.</li>\n <li>Produce product in a manner as to improve efficiency and achieve productivity and delivery goals.</li>\n <li>Notify the supervisor of any mistakes, omissions, or alterations necessary to drawings or bill of materials.</li>\n <li>Upkeep of tools and toolbox, reporting any losses or breakages to the supervisor and keeping the toolbox locked when not in use.</li>\n <li>Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li>\n <li>Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>Must have experience and knowledge of mechanical assembly; basic blueprint reading skills and pressure control equipment (preferred).</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of&nbsp;Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.</li>\n <li>Forklift experience considered an asset.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to pass a physical, drug screen and background check.</li>\n <li>Must be willing and able to work any overtime as required.</li>\n <li>Must possess basic computer skills.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Superior interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.</li>\n <li>Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.</li>\n <li>Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</li>\n <li>Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>COMPETITIVE BENEFITS:</strong>&nbsp;(visit usbenefits.nov.com for more information about our benefits offerings)</p>\n<ul>\n <li>401(k) Retirement Plan – NOV matches every dollar up to 5% of base pay and overtime for every dollar you invest.</li>\n <li>Competitive medical plans that are effective your date of hire.
