    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Acuren is currently seeking a CEDO Certified Camera Maintenance Technician to support the Pacific Region, specifically in Richmond, BC!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this hands-on role, you’ll support Acuren’s radiation safety program by keeping radiography systems and accessories in top working condition-serviced, maintained, and documented to the highest standards. Reporting directly to the Regional Radiation Safety Officer, you’ll be a critical contributor to safe, compliant field operations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Position is based in Richmond, BC, must be local to the area</li>\n <li>Immediate Start date</li>\n <li>Position will be up to 40 hrs./week</li>\n <li>Rate range will be up to $36.54 to $48.12/hr. - depending on certifications in accordance with the QCC Agreement</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure that radiographic exposure device systems (mostly Delta 880 devices), X-Ray equipment, PMIsystems, and accessory equipment are properly serviced and maintained.</li>\n <li>Ensure that proper records and documentation are maintained for each type of radiographic equipment</li>\n <li>Assist with tracking of serviced equipment, maintenance expirations, maintaining a spare parts inventory,and update documentation in exposure device binders</li>\n <li>In collaboration with the regional RSO, assess and report any safety concerns, potential causes ofequipment malfunctions and recommend corrective actions</li>\n <li>Perform source assembly changes using a QSA Model 650L source changer, and conduct leak testing onisotope related equipment</li>\n <li>Assist with the preparation of Class 7 Dangerous Goods shipments by road and air of for both domesticand international transfers</li>\n <li>Other work duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<h3><strong>Certifications & Experience:</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Certified Exposure Device Operator (CEDO) at minimum</p></li>\n <li>Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate (preferred)</li>\n <li>Completion of QSA Global OEM Equipment Maintenance Course (preferred)</li>\n <li><p>Minimum 2 years’ experience in Industrial Gamma Radiography operations</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience servicing industrial radiography exposure device systems</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience meeting CNSC regulatory compliance requirements</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Technical & Safety Requirements:</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability to follow radiation safety procedures and safely operate:</p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Gamma-ray exposure devices</p></li>\n   <li><p>Source changers</p></li>\n   <li><p>X-ray equipment</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p>Proficient with radiation detection equipment and related tools</p></li>\n <li><p>Familiarity with TDG, CNSC, and Health Canada regulations</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong mechanical aptitude</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Professional & Communication Skills:</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with clients</p></li>\n <li><p>Effective verbal and written communication, documentation, and reporting</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong time management, multitasking, attention to detail, and adaptability</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborative, safety-focused, and client-oriented approach to work</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Acuren lies in its outstanding people.
