We are fully vertically integrated, bringing engineering, machining, tool-making, and production under one roof to deliver advanced Composite Structures on tight timelines with unmatched quality.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">If you&#39;re looking to be part of a team that pushes boundaries and works with the most advanced technologies in the composites industry, this is where the future is being built!</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Position Overview</strong><strong>:<br></strong>The Quality Control Inspector II is responsible for ensuring all parts manufactured within Fibreworks Composites or its sub-contractors meet the fit, form, and function criteria set by the customers and/or engineering standards. In addition, examines finished carbon fiber product for defects or deviations from specifications.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><strong>:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">General knowledge of composites design and manufacturing preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">General knowledge of company process and product line</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Understand and follow all written documents including standard operating procedures (SOPs), forms, test methods and test specifications</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Have the ability to perform inspection duties for carbon fiber components</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Mechanical/dimensional inspection of a diverse product line</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Visual inspection on workmanship criteria</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Understanding of basic GD&amp;T (blueprint reading)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Inspect parts using PCMM and other standard metrology equipment for weights and measures (calipers, micrometers, depth gauge, gauge pins, Romer arm, etc.) keeping detailed records (weights, checklists, reports, etc.) in an organized and standard fashion</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Gather data from various tools, gages, and tooling systems and prepare quality</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Document nonconformance via NCR process. Aim to achieve timely disposition of nonconforming parts.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Developing knowledge of company ERP system. Process incoming RMA&#39;s as assigned.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bring problems/issues to attention of Quality Control Lead, Supervisor, Manager as appropriate</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work efficiently to achieve targeted goals as set by the production schedule</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate to the manufacturing team any issues or opportunities that may affect product quality</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Multitask, prioritize work, and remain organized in job function</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policies</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform additional tasks related to quality control as assigned by management.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>What You Will Bring to the Team</strong><strong>:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent</li></ul></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum of four (4) years of industry experience and in a similar role</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have the ability, experience, and skills to be able to contribute to formal problem-solving activities</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Thorough knowledge of composite materials related manufacturing equipment and processes a plus</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be well organized and have the ability to multitask</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Attention to detail and good documentation practices</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Self-starter, results-oriented individual with ability to organize and analyze data</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient with MS Office products.
