Please log in to verify your internal candidate status. Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person. Work primarily takes place at Enterprise Square. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Systems, the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) of Student Information Systems (SIS) is a key leadership role responsible for the effective delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of the University of Alberta's Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CS) and related enterprise applications. As the primary liaison between institutional stakeholders, internal technical teams, and external managed service partners, the SDM ensures reliable application performance, service excellence, and the advancement of new development initiatives aligned with University strategy. This position provides the leadership necessary to coordinate distinct infrastructure hosting and application management service components, uniting on-site, on-shore, and off-shore resources into a cohesive, high-performing delivery model focused on innovation, sustainability, and user satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of Oracle PeopleSoft and related cloud technologies to support evolving business processes. Serve as the senior functional lead and subject matter expert on system upgrades and new development initiatives. Oversee the delivery of application management services provided by on-site, on-shore, and off-shore teams. Chair the functional Change Advisory Board and manage ITIL-aligned change and service request processes. Supervise and mentor Business Solutions Analysts, and direct, plan, and monitor work assignments across functional, technical, and vendor resources within a matrix organization. Qualifications Undergraduate degree or technical diploma in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of five years' direct experience implementing and supporting enterprise-level student administration management ERP/SIS applications. Demonstrated expertise in PeopleSoft application functionality, architecture, and integration with a strong understanding of complex business processes. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong foundation in project management, business analysis, and ERP/SIS implementation methodologies. Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation—with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Direct experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, extended cloud services and third party service providers. Experience working within large, multi-faceted organizations, preferably in higher education, public-sector administration, or similarly complex environments.
