    "description_html": "<p>Job Summary</p><p>This is a direct service position that works one-on-one with children who have special needs. ABA Clinicians focus on increasing communication, social, and verbal behavior skills, as well as decreasing problem behavior, using the science of Applied Behavior&nbsp;</p><p>Analysis (ABA).&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>This position reports to the Clinical and Administrative Leadership at the Clinic. This is a non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).</p><p><br></p><p>Essential Daily Duties</p><p>These duties should be able to be completed with or without reasonable ADA accommodations.</p><p>• Preparing for client session including reviewing previous notes/documents</p><p>• Run skill acquisition programs (including Discrete Trial Instruction and Natural Environment Teaching) and teach a variety of skills using ABA principles</p><p>• Observe and track behaviors using a variety of data collection methods</p><p>• Follow individualized behavior plans, including intervening on problem behavior as outlined in beneficiary’s plan</p><p>• Complete end of session tasks not limited to, rendering time worked, completing ABA session documentation</p><p>• Learn and use assistive technology and other specialized equipment</p><p>• Attend and participate in clinic/company meetings, training, case reviews, etc.</p><p>• Assist with parent training by modeling ABA techniques</p><p><br></p><p>Other Duties</p><p>• Opportunity to attend and participate in community events on weeknights and weekends</p><p>• Completing team chores</p><p><br></p><p>Ability to</p><p>• Follow ethical standards as set forth by the BACB</p><p>• Exhibit patience when working with clients who have special needs, problem&nbsp;</p><p>behavior, and seeing progress with behavioral interventions</p><p>• Maintain records and documentation in accordance with ABA funding sources</p><p>• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA standards</p><p>• Communicate effectively with co-workers and leadership both orally and in writing</p><p>• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with children, parents, co-workers, supervisors, and other professionals</p><p>• Accept and implement feedback consistently across sessions</p><p><br></p><p>Skills</p><p>• Thoroughness</p><p>• Detail-orientated</p><p>• Accountability</p><p>• Collaboration Skills/Ability to Work Well with Others</p><p>• Communication Proficiency (Co-workers, Parents, Clients)</p><p>• Adaptability</p><p>• Initiative, self-starter</p><p>• Critical thinking</p><p><br></p><p>Supervisory Responsibility</p><p>This position does not have a supervisory role.</p><p><br></p><p>Work Environment</p><p>This job operates in a professional, clinical environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers/tablets, phones, and photocopiers.</p><p><br></p><p>Travel</p><p>Services are primarily provided in a clinic-based setting, however occasional local travel may be required depending on patient need.</p><p><br></p><p>Physical Demands</p><p>This is largely an active role. This would require the ability to bend, sit, stand, lift, walk, and diaper a child throughout the day. Lifting requirement range is 5-20 lbs. but may exceed 20 lbs. in some cases.</p><p><br></p><p>Position Type and Expected Hours of Work</p><p>This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Business hours are 8 am – 5 pm. Work schedules may vary depending on location.</p><p><br></p><p>Pay</p><p>Pay is commensurate with education, experience and credential level.
