This individual delivers concierge-level support, translates provider needs into system design, and advances key Clinical Informatics initiatives aligned with organizational strategy.</p>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Job Responsibilities:</strong><br>\n &nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in the evaluation, selection, design, and implementation of clinical systems impacting clinicians and the Physician Organization.</li>\n <li>Collaborate across departments to ensure system enhancements reflect real-world clinical practice.</li>\n <li>Serve as a primary resource for medical staff on clinical information systems.</li>\n <li>Drive system optimization through enhancements, training partnerships, workflow evaluations, and ongoing frontline support.</li>\n <li>Facilitate strong clinician engagement in system improvement efforts.</li>\n <li>Lead troubleshooting efforts and coordinate downtime procedures.</li>\n <li>Evaluate system performance using process improvement methodologies.</li>\n <li>Conduct provider shadowing and develop reports to assess system impact</li>\n <li>Support quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives related to clinical systems.</li>\n <li>Assist with regulatory readiness and documentation improvement efforts.</li>\n <li>Enhance clinical decision support tools and data integration.</li>\n <li>Lead multiple, complex clinical informatics projects simultaneously.</li>\n <li>Define scope, timelines, resources, and success metrics.</li>\n <li>Act as system administrator for clinical informatics applications.</li>\n <li>Provide real-time, concierge-level support to physicians and advanced practice providers.</li>\n <li>Align system design with Physician Informaticist direction and Clinical Informatics strategy</li>\n <li>Develop and execute testing scenarios that accurately reflect clinical workflows.</li>\n <li>Extract, analyze, and interpret data from Epic and other systems to support key initiatives.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.</li>\n <li>Partner with physician informaticists to define meaningful KPIs (e.g., provider efficiency, documentation quality, patient safety).</li>\n <li>Translate data into actionable insights for system and workflow optimization.<br>\n  &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills:</strong><br>\n &nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong understanding of clinical workflows, health IT systems, and Epic applications.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of healthcare systems, interfaces, and software environments.</li>\n <li>Experience with device integration and clinical technologies.</li>\n <li>Strong project management, leadership, and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and analyze system functionality against business needs.<br>\n  &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field required.</li>\n <li><strong>Licenses &amp; Certifications (One of the Following Required)</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Registered Nurse (RN) – Texas Board of Nursing or Nurse Licensure Compact</li>\n   <li>Nurse Practitioner (NP, PNP, NNP, FNP) – State of Texas</li>\n   <li>Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)</li>\n   <li>Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT)</li>\n   <li>Pharmacist (RPh)</li>\n   <li>Epic Certification (any module)</li>\n   <li>Informatics Nursing Certification (RN-BC)</li>\n   <li>AMIA Health Informatics Certification</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>7 years of experience in clinical informatics, clinical systems support, or healthcare IT within a hospital or healthcare setting required&nbsp;</li>\n <li>3 years in a dedicated informatics role required</li>\n <li>2 years managing medium to large-scale information services projects preferred&nbsp;</li>\n <li>5 years of information systems-related experience (e.g., super user roles, committees, or implementation support) preferred&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>",
