Document daily group notes in patient EMR.</li>\n <li>Develop a scheduled recreational activities and programming that reflects the assessed needs/interests of the patients, provide culturally appropriate activities, supplies and materials.</li>\n <li>Develop structured programs that will offer the patient the opportunity to reduce stress, improve mood, increase activity level and social skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>As part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, the Recreation Therapist designs and implements a variety of activities focusing on individualized needs with the specific objective of fostering effective interactions, enhance coping skills and cognitive functioning, reality orientation and prioritizing independence in caring for self.</p>\n<p>Documents activities that reflect services provided as the patient's progress toward meeting treatment plan goals and objectives.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Signet Health offers a market competitive compensation package with a salary range of  $52,000/year to $56,000/year.   Schedule for this position is as follows:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Tuesday through Friday 11am to 7:30pm</p>\n<p>Saturday: 10am - 6:30pm</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Requirements/Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in therapeutic recreation or behavioral health related field. OR</p>\n<p>Must have or be on track to receive certification by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation (CTRS)</p>\n<p>Must demonstrate ability by education or training in treating people with mental/psychiatric illness.
