We are looking for an <strong>RN</strong> for our <strong>San Martin, CA Short-Term </strong><strong>Residential Treatment Center!</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Administer medications including injections as needed</li>\n <li>Manage med room and distribute medication per doctor's orders</li>\n <li>Submitting doctor's orders to pharmacy and facilitating prescription retrieval</li>\n <li>Communicating with outside providers to obtain medical records</li>\n <li>Monitoring and conducting skin checks for self-harm behavior</li>\n <li>Determine when a student is to be placed on sick bed due to illness or pain</li>\n <li>Accompany students to clinic or hospital should the situation arise; communicate findings to the students' parents and to the Clinical Director</li>\n <li>Check the vital signs and weight of students as assigned</li>\n <li>Communicate any pertinent medical information to the Treatment Team and the Psychiatrist either verbally or in written form</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>The position <strong>requires an active CA RN license</strong>, a driver license, and current CPR certification.</li>\n <li>Min of 1 year of nursing experience is required</li>\n <li>Mental or behavioral health setting experience preferred</li>\n <li>Experience working with adolescents preferred</li>\n <li>Experience charting in EMR systems</li>\n <li>Experience or knowledge of health insurance submission processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance</strong> – Multiple plan options including PPO and HDHPs with HSA eligibility and company contributions.</li>\n <li><strong>Paid Parental Leave</strong> – Up to 6 weeks fully paid for exempt employees and 4 weeks for non-exempt.</li>\n <li><strong>Life & Disability Coverage</strong> – Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability; voluntary life and optional short-term disability available.</li>\n <li><strong>401(k) with Company Match</strong> – Retirement savings with matching contributions after eligibility period.</li>\n <li><strong>PTO & Holidays</strong> – Competitive PTO accrual plans and paid holidays throughout the year.</li>\n <li><strong>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</strong> – Free, confidential support for life’s challenges.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Embark is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.</strong> We are committed to enriching the therapeutic and healing experience we offer through the diversity of our employees and community.
