Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Novelis has approximately 13,000 employees in 32 operating facilities on 4 continents.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities & Qualifications</h2>\n<p>The Novelis Uhrichsville team is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Mobile Equipment Maintenance. The Maintenance Supervisor will demonstrate teamwork and is a recognized Front-Line leader who demonstrates Novelis cultural beliefs and a commitment to high performance and our Focused 5. The Supervisor will lead a crew of multiskilled technicians to ensure safe, effective, and efficient continuous operational readiness through proactive maintenance and reliability of the facility and equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor will assist with process changes, installations, repairs, projects and providing data to improve maintenance.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Promote zero SIF (Serious Infury of Fatality) and EHS (Environmental Health Safety) incident culture, support and participate in incident investigations to determine root cause, identify preventive actions, and implement CAPA immediately.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with partners regarding EHS, people, quality, process, and equipment issues.</li>\n <li>Lead a crew of 8 technicians by developing personal and working relationships, listening to new ideas and suggestions, and promoting participation in decision making.</li>\n <li>Conduct routine audits of EHS consistency, completeness, work order accuracy, housekeeping, etc.</li>\n <li>Complete prioritized daily maintenance activities (predictive, preventive, and breakdown maintenance) ensuring full utilization of the crew to minimize downtime</li>\n <li>Communicate with Reliability (PDM, Predictive Maintenance) Technician and Engineers to solve problems to root cause, implement actions that prevent reoccurrence, improve operations, etc.</li>\n <li>Develop, schedule, and provide training for technicians in areas of weakness.</li>\n <li>Establish expectations, performance objectives and reviews for direct reports.</li>\n <li>Use a maintenance escalation chain to minimize response times.</li>\n <li>Manage and approve Technician timecards as required as well as manage overtime, vacations, and shift relief. (Update in Kronos)</li>\n <li>Assist in recruitment for maintenance personnel.</li>\n <li>Make sure all schedule work order needs to complete in system with notes what did.</li>\n <li>Improve technician skill level by given by training through online, offline and shopfloor training.</li>\n <li>Adhere to and support company quality, environmental, health & safety, and certification standards, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, IATF 16949:2016, and ASI Certifications, where applicable.</li>\n <li>This position is applicable to Fleet Management, mobile equipment maintenance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>4-year degree, 2-year technical degree; or experience equivalent preferred (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering)</li>\n <li>5+ years industrial maintenance experience</li>\n <li>People leadership skills</li>\n <li>Contractor management skills to perform project and maintenance activities</li>\n <li>Experience scheduling and planning work and personnel</li>\n <li>Very high mechanical proficiency</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>CMMS knowledge</li>\n <li>Strong electrical, and controls knowledge</li>\n <li>CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) certified</li>\n <li>Mobile Equipment Supervisor experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. The Recycling mill prepares scrap aluminum that is used in the rolling mill to create rolled aluminum coils to a desired gauge. Anneals temper the aluminum then it is leveled and sized to customer specification.
