The primary focus of the IC is to support people to live more effective and meaningful lives by working with them to secure nontraditional services that encompass a combination of staff supports and enabling technologies. This includes residential, employment, and community supports. Key areas include assessment, person centered / MAP's planning, linking people to services, training, and advocacy. By providing an array of supports and by offering nontraditional innovative services, we respect the uniqueness of each person and support individuals with disabilities to live, learn, work, and play.</p>\n<p>We are looking for an Innovation Coordinator to help us develop and implement a unique and new service in Tennessee designed to help young adults in the communities where they live, learn, work, and play. Using a unique approach built around person centered, employment first, and technology first thinking. We are looking for an Innovation Coordinator who is grounded in person centered thinking and one who can foster a creative and forward-thinking approach to providing services in Tennessee.</p>\n<p>The Charles Lea Center is a CQL accredited organization that is based in Spartanburg South Carolina and provides services in South Carolina, and North Carolina and recently was awarded a contract with the Tennessee Department Disability and Aging (DDA) to provide services in their State. Reasonable accommodations are available.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REQUIREMENTS: </span></p>\n<p>A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field;</p>\n<p>or</p>\n<p>A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a non-related field and one year of relevant experience;</p>\n<p>or</p>\n<p>Associate degree and 2 years of relevant experience;</p>\n<p>or</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">High School Diploma or General Equivalent with 4 years of relevant case management </span>experience providing or coordinating services to people with disabilities and special needs and/or with case management services.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">*Relevant experience means experience working directly with persons with intellectual, developmental, or other types of disabilities or mental illness.</span><br></p>\n<p>Are you able to work independently as well as with a team?
