Coordinate with other departments on the shift for smooth flow of operations.</li><li>Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are met according to the schedule and customer demand.</li><li>Hold Supervisors, Group Leaders and Team Leaders accountable for all production related standards and targets.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Team Leadership and Management:</p><ul><li>Lead, train, and mentor production supervisors.</li><li>Set clear performance expectations, provide feedback, and manage performance evaluations for production supervision.</li><li>Foster a positive and productive work environment to ensure high morale and teamwork.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Production Quality and Efficiency:</p><ul><li>Ensure that production processes meet established quality standards and specifications.</li><li>Work closely with the quality control department to address any product defects or process issues promptly.</li><li>Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Safety and 5’s Compliance:</p><ul><li>Promote and enforce workplace safety practices and procedures.</li><li>Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.</li><li>Investigate any accidents or incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.</li><li>Abide by and ensure compliance with company policy, safety policies and 5S expectations established by the company.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Production Planning and Coordination:</p><ul><li>Collaborate with the Production Manager to adjust production schedules for optimal job sequencing and to meet customer deadlines.</li><li>Coordinate with other departments such as maintenance, quality control, and supply chain to ensure smooth production flow.</li><li>Manage resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize production performance.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Troubleshoot and Resolve Production Issues:</p><ul><li>Identify and address any operational challenges or bottlenecks that arise during a shift.</li><li>Work with maintenance teams to resolve equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to minimize production delays.</li><li>Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformance related to productivity or quality.</li><li>Escalate human resources related concerns to assigned HR Representative and assist as instructed by HR in the resolution of any issues.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Track and Report Production Metrics:</p><ul><li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, quality, efficiency, and downtime, and timely inform the Production Manager of any deviations</li><li>Analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.</li><li>Prepare and send to production and plant manager daily report of shift operations, reporting performance against daily goals, issues /concerns and proposing solutions to address them.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned.#zr</li></ul><p><br></p>",
