What You’ll Do
As a Physical Therapist I (PT I), you will:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment planning for patients with acquired and developmental disabilities
Deliver hands-on, evidence-based therapy interventions to maximize function and independence
Delegate and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation technicians
Collaborate within a dynamic interdisciplinary team to drive patient-centered outcomes
Participate in intra- and interdisciplinary training programs and continuous learning
Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with KKI policies and Maryland Board regulations
International Center for Spinal Cord Injury
Qualifications
CPR certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
Eligible for license to practice as a PT in the state of Maryland.
Continuing education or certification in Physical Therapy or a related field is preferred.
*Individual must demonstrate competence across all age groups due to the diversity of the children and families served by KKI.
*Clinical care focus is on the neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations, as well as some adults with disabilities.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from an accredited undergraduate program for PTs.
Graduate degree (M.S. or higher) preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
One year of experience working in a related Physical Therapy practice setting is preferred.
Experience working with or treating children or adults with developmental or acquired disabilities is preferred.
Minimum pay range USD $78,000.00/Yr.
Maximum pay range USD $106,886.00/Yr.
