The ideal candidate will be responsible for the application of fiberglass and resin to boat hulls and other components to ensure a smooth and durable finish, have a strong understanding of laminating techniques, and be committed to quality craftsmanship<strong>.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare fiberglass, resin, and other materials according to specifications.</li><li>Cut and lay fiberglass cloth over molds or structures to specified angles.</li><li>Apply layers of fiberglass onto molds or directly onto boat hulls using various techniques</li><li>Ensure proper resin-to-fiber ratio for optimal strength and weight balance.</li><li>Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.</li><li>Detect and repair defects in fiberglass or gel coat as necessary.</li><li>Clean and maintain tools, molds, and equipment used in the lamination process.</li><li>Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.</li><li>Work closely with other team members such as designers, engineers, and boat builders to ensure efficient production.</li><li>Communicate effectively to resolve issues and improve processes.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This list is not exhaustive, and responsibilities may be subject to adjustment based on the evolving needs of the business.&nbsp;</p>",
