In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with advanced inspection technologies, contribute to continuous improvement, and collaborate closely with engineering, production, and customer partners.</p>\n <p><b>What You’ll Do</b></p>\n <p>As a leader in our quality organization, you will:</p>\n <p>• Perform first article, in‑process, and final inspections using CMMs, manual tools, and visual inspection techniques<br>\n   • Interpret engineering drawings and work with engineering and management to define quality requirements<br>\n   • Create quality control plans for complex components<br>\n   • Develop and run CMM programs to support efficient, accurate measurements<br>\n   • Use calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators, and vision‑based systems such as optical comparators<br>\n   • Support shop‑floor teams with in‑process inspections and guidance<br>\n   • Review measurement results, determine conformance, and produce detailed inspection reports<br>\n   • Partner with customers to review findings and recommend corrective actions<br>\n   • Maintain accurate inspection records and upload documentation to company systems<br>\n   • Manage and track nonconformance reports<br>\n   • Perform routine CMM maintenance and monitor calibration status<br>\n   • Lead Out‑of‑Tolerance investigations and drive inspection‑process improvements<br>\n   • Apply basic statistical techniques to analyze measurement trends<br>\n   • Conduct Measurement System Analysis<br>\n   • Uphold and follow Centrus’ quality management system procedures<br>\n   • Train team members on inspection techniques, tools, and GD&amp;T concepts<br>\n   • Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe<br>\n   • Support occasional weekend or evening work to meet critical deadlines<br>\n   • Contribute to additional projects as needed</p>\n <p><b>What You Bring</b></p>\n <p>• High school diploma or equivalent<br>\n   • <b>Minimum five years</b> of experience in dimensional inspection and CMM programming<br>\n   • Strong knowledge of <b>GD&amp;T (ANSI Y14.5)</b><br>\n   • Experience inspecting tight‑tolerance, high‑value components<br>\n   • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines<br>\n   • Excellent attention to detail and ability to read mechanical drawings/CAD models<br>\n   • Strong written communication skills for procedures and reporting<br>\n   • Effective communication with engineers, shop personnel, and other teams<br>\n   • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools<br>\n   • Ability to obtain and maintain a <b>DOE Q‑level security clearance</b></p>\n <p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p>\n <p>• Experience programming and operating Zeiss Calypso CMMs<br>\n   • SolidWorks modeling experience<br>\n   • Familiarity with statistical tools such as Minitab</p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span><i>In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.</i></span></p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span><i>This position will require a pre­-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.</i></span></p>\n <p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span><i>Centrus Energy and all subsidiaries shall abide by the applicable legal requirements.
