Founded in 1908, SMS is an international centre for girl-centered learning and leadership development, providing empowering education for girls from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 (boarding grades 7–12).  St. Margaret’s School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) School offering the Diploma Program.<br><br>The role of the Instructional Leader is crucial in developing the ethos of achievement within a given curriculum area, in harmony with the Strategic Plan of the school. Instructional Leaders are key to the success and development of the school, and the raising of student achievement. </p>\n<p>Instructional Leaders form a vital part of the SMS Pedagogical Leadership Team. Instructional Leaders need to have a sound knowledge of current educational trends and a desire to lead others in the implementation of excellent teaching practice.  They are expected to collaborate with the Curriculum, Instruction and Design Lead and the Principals on improving pedagogy and practice where it is relevant to their curriculum area.</p>\n<p>This position is essential for establishing a clear and consistent student leadership framework across our JK-12 school, aligning directly with the overarching Humanity strategic plan. Working in close collaboration with the Deputy Head of School, Student Life, this role will ensure the seamless integration and delivery of all student leadership initiatives.
