Description

Opportunity Information Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking an experienced, highly collaborative Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support our Interventional Cardiology program in San Francisco. This position works directly with Interventional Cardiologists to support the delivery of multidisciplinary care for patients with complex cardiovascular and structural heart disease, and includes close care coordination and relationship-building with Advanced Heart Failure (AHF) and Cardiothoracic Surgery (CTS) teams. This role is ideal for a Nurse Practitioner with a strong cardiology background who thrives in a fast-paced, highly specialized environment and is committed to delivering coordinated, patient-centered cardiovascular care. About the Opportunity The Interventional Cardiology Nurse Practitioner plays a key role in managing patients across the continuum of care, including outpatient clinic visits, inpatient evaluations, procedural planning, and post-intervention follow-up . The NP partners closely with Interventional Cardiologists to support clinical care delivery while ensuring seamless coordination with Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiothoracic Surgery services as needed. While invasive procedures are performed by Interventional Cardiologists, the NP is instrumental in optimizing patient preparation, education, and post-procedural management, helping ensure high-quality outcomes and a superior patient experience.
