As a Waste Technician, you will spend 70% of your time handling non-hazardous and hazardous waste materials, including collection, sorting, packaging, processing and some shipping/receiving. The remaining 30% will involve assisting at Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection events, where residents drop off materials like paint, oil, and other household waste items.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>At Brendar, we’ve earned our reputation as one of Ontario’s most trusted hazardous waste management companies over the last 30 years. If you take exceptional pride in your work, we look forward to the opportunity to meet with you.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage inventories of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.</li>\n<li>Sort, identify, process, and label waste materials according to safety standards.</li>\n<li>Support Processing and shipping documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.</li>\n<li>Physically load and unload materials as needed.</li>\n<li>Assist with household hazardous waste collection events at various sites.</li>\n<li>Support processing activities related to waste management.</li>\n<li>Adhere to all health and safety requirements to maintain a safe work environment.</li>\n<li>Monday to Friday work schedule with occasional Saturday shifts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment and Benefits</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive hourly wage ($21.00/hour based on experience)</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Full-time hours OR Part-time hours (flexible days, 15 – 30 hours per week)</span></li>\n<li>Company Medical Benefits</li>\n<li>Flexible and respectful work environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Da-Lee Group provides equal employment opportunities (EEO), and we welcome candidates from all abilities and backgrounds.
