This role involves preparing raw materials, monitoring the freeze-drying process, performing quality checks, and packaging finished products. Will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Receiving, inspecting, milling, packing, and distributing the product.<em>&nbsp;</em></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adhere to standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet company standards.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify and report any quality issues or deviations from specifications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Pass cleaning tests and complete all cleaning requirements set forth by the quality assurance department and other third-party inspections.<em>&nbsp;</em></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Great care is taken to clean the rooms, tools, and equipment used during all operations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The ability to read instructions and/or labels efficiently, attach labels and tags to products and packages, communicate effectively and frequent lifting of raw products in preparation for processing.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Load and unload trays into and out of the freeze-drying equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Operate freeze-drying equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Transport raw and processed materials to designated areas, using a pallet jack.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work in accordance with SQF (Safe Quality Food), PCQI, or HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) rules and regulations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding production status and any issues that arise.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must maintain regular and consistent attendance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>SAFETY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: </strong>&nbsp;</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Comply with the Environmental Health Safety &amp; Security (EHS&amp;S) policies and applicable regulatory and company EHS&amp;S rules and requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Attend scheduled EHS&amp;S training program.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Actively support the organization&rsquo;s efforts to meet or exceed EHS&amp;S goals and plans.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recommend improved EHS&amp;S practices.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Practices safe work habits and follows general safety procedures such as proper lifting and bending, ergonomics, proper use of equipment and use of personal protection equipment (PPE).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adheres to and ensures lockout procedures are followed any time the equipment is being cleaned or maintained.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>PRODUCT SAFETY AND QUALITY</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Place high priority on food safety, quality, and sanitation by understanding and executing Thrive Freeze Dry&rsquo;s food safety, quality, and sanitation policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Hold self and others accountable to Thrive Freeze Dry food safety, quality, &amp; sanitation guidelines and policies by communicating any food safety or quality incident, observation, or opportunity to your leadership team or teammates.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adherence to and ensures Product Safety and Quality standards are followed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adheres to and ensures GMP&rsquo;s regarding food contact packaging as it pertains to the employee.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adheres to and ensures Thrives food safety, product defense standards and quality objectives complies with all SQF system requirements.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (include education, experience, special skills, licenses and/or certifications required.)</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>The list below represents the <u>knowledge, skill, and/or ability</u> required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
