Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.</em></p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Summary: </strong>In this role, you will play a crucial part in the smooth functioning of the medical office by confirming appointments, conducting triage, assisting with in-house procedures, and testing, managing PCP (Primary Care Provider) conversions, handling sterilization and autoclaving, tracking supplies, documenting usage, and updating digital logbooks.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities but not limited to: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage and maintain sterilization processes for all equipment being used while adhering to company policies and protocols</li>\n <li>Conduct patient triage to assess and prioritize medical needs.</li>\n <li>Gather relevant information to assist healthcare providers in delivering optimal care.</li>\n <li>Support healthcare providers during in-house procedures such as EKG and PFT.</li>\n <li>Ensure a sterile and organized environment for medical examinations.</li>\n <li>Guide patients through the process of Primary Care Physician (PCP) conversions.</li>\n <li>Provide information, answer queries, and facilitate a smooth transition.</li>\n <li>Perform sterilization and autoclaving of medical instruments and equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintain adherence to infection control protocols.</li>\n <li>Track inventory levels of medical supplies.</li>\n <li>Place orders and maintain sufficient stock to support daily operations.</li>\n <li>Document the usage of medical items and supplies accurately.</li>\n <li>Maintain detailed and organized records for reference.</li>\n <li>Update logbooks regularly to reflect accurate information on supplies, procedures, and equipment usage.</li>\n <li>Other duties as needed. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Certified Medical Assistant or Associate degree in Medical Assistant</li>\n <li>CPR Certification (Urgent Care)</li>\n <li>Internship experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred. </li>\n <li>Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite</li>\n <li>Familiarity with eCW is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competency in conducting triage, assisting with medical procedures, and performing sterilization and autoclaving.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational abilities to manage supplies, documentation, and logbook updates.</li>\n <li>Attention to detail is crucial for accurate documentation and maintaining a sterile environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals in a dynamic medical office setting.</li>\n <li>Flexibility to handle diverse responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>$16.00-$19.00 an hour</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Essen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.</em></strong></p>",
