apprehension and arrest of law violators or suspected law violators and maintain same apprehension of suspects, inmates/prisoners or trustees during transportation.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education, Professional Certification or License</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School or GED</li>\n <li>Valid Florida driver's license</li>\n <li>State of Florida, Basic Recruit, Certificate of Compliance after completion of training in accordance with</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>*CJSTC or comparable out of state training</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Successful maintenance of proficiency in mandatory in-service training as delineated in General Orders 33.5</li>\n <li>Successful completion of the Polk County Sheriff's Office Field Training Program</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Professional Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior law enforcement experience is preferred but not mandatory</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Environmental Conditions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work may involve rotating 12 hour shifts</li>\n <li>Physical acts requiring strength
