    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p><strong></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Tacten is currently recruiting Telehandler Operators (Certified)</strong> to support an upcoming project in the Atlantic Region, specifically in <strong>Halifax/Dartmouth, Nova Scotia</strong>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic industrial environment where you will gain hands-on experience, further develop your technical skills, and contribute to a team focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Project Details:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>work commencing mid-May 2026 through July 2026</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Work located in Halifax/Dartmouth, NS</strong></li>\n <li><strong>candidates must be local to the Halifax/Dartmouth area or surrounding region.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Whether you are looking to build hours, expand your experience, or work within a high-performing team, this role offers strong exposure and growth potential within the industry.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate telehandler (Zoom Boom) equipment safely to lift, move, and place materials in accordance with site requirements and safety standards</li>\n <li>Conduct daily pre-use inspections and basic maintenance checks, reporting any defects or mechanical issues promptly</li>\n <li>Coordinate with site supervisors and crews to ensure efficient material handling and support ongoing construction activities</li>\n <li>Maintain compliance with all safety procedures, including load limits, ground conditions, and proper use of attachments (forks, buckets, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid telehandler (Zoom Boom) certification</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of experience operating a telehandler in a construction or industrial environment</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients and co-workers</li>\n <li>Exceptional safety and quality awareness</li>\n <li>Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
