We’ve proven our ability to bring technologies to patients, with several active clinical trials around the world. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We’re looking for <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Oncology Home Infusion Nurses (RN)</span> to become the next key hires in our organization as we build our US Healthcare Services function. Working closely with our National Director of Nursing and Healthcare Services team, the oncology home infusion nurses will coordinate and perform infusion nursing care for patients in the home setting; administering skilled nursing care; participating in teaching patients and caregivers home medical management; providing leadership by working cooperatively to establish priorities and goals of patient care.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working at Luminate </span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>This is a key hire at a rapidly growing startup. You will have an opportunity to shape the development of a high-impact patient-facing services and gain first-hand insights into the growth of a start-up. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We offer a highly competitive salary and equity package, a flexible benefits package, alongside a company laptop, headphones, camera and teamwear. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We believe in quality of life in our product and for our people, offering flexible working hours, remote-friendly positions, and a generous vacation policy. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Do:</span> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abides by company policies and procedures as well as ONS, INS Infusion Therapy, and IgNS Standards of Practice, OSHA guidelines, State Nurse Practice Act, and state board laws/guidelines.</li>\n<li>Provides infusion and other skilled nursing care to patients including, but not limited to patient assessments, patient/caregiver teaching, development and revision of the plan of care, implementation of physician orders, monitoring patient response, response to emergency patient needs and psychosocial support.</li>\n<li>Provides pre-discharge patient assessments in the hospital or clinic setting, when appropriate.</li>\n<li>Completes all required patient care documentation and reports accurately.</li>\n<li>Submits all required patient care documentation and reports in a timely manner.</li>\n<li>Communicates to supervisor, physicians and other health care providers, as appropriate, any changes in the patient’s condition.</li>\n<li>Takes on call responsibility as assigned to provide 24-hour availability and provides these services in accordance with established protocols and be able to assume a flexible work schedule.</li>\n<li>Takes professional responsibility for self-protection during required work in potentially hazardous situations (e.g. handling of blood and body fluids).</li>\n<li>Represents self in a professional and ethical manner at all times.</li>\n<li>Participates in the activities of the company’s quality assurance program.</li>\n<li>Monitor lab results on all applicable patients and ensure lab results are communicated to prescriber and pharmacy staff and uploaded to patient’s EMR.</li>\n<li>Attends scheduled patient care conferences, in-services, departmental meetings/calls, as requested.</li>\n<li>Maintains professional licensure, certification and health requirements as well as demonstrating clinical competence of orientation programs, etc.</li>\n<li>Participates in the orientation of other nurses as requested.</li>\n<li>Assists in effective communication between the patient and the company, to include documentation of suggestions, complaints, and requests.</li>\n<li>Provides patient education on specific therapies and supplies, including nursing and home delivery information.</li>\n<li>Performs other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Personal Attributes – The Ideal Candidate Is:</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Creative: </span>A creative problem solver who is enthusiastic and proactive about new ideas. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Open: </span>A proactive team player who seeks to help develop your teammates. You are able to identify appropriate communication channels for problems and concerns.<br>You are courteous and listen well to complaints from patients and customers and provide fair and empathetic responses. You assist in effective communication between the patient and the company, including documentation of suggestions, complaints, and requests.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Self-Driven: </span>You have a sense of urgency in your work and thrive when taking responsibility for tasks.<br>Meets expectations for customer/patient satisfaction and anticipates customer/patient needs. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Attention to Detail: </span>Understands and adheres to company policies and procedures.<br>Understands and adheres to all external accreditation review standards, applicable state, local and Federal laws and / or regulations including maintaining patient confidentiality through abiding by HIPAA laws/regulations.<br>Ability to work under strict guidelines, competing priorities, and immediate requests. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Professional: </span>Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with internal and external customers as well as all company employees. <br>Displays a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times. Always representing self in a professional and ethical manner.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements – The Ideal Candidate Must Have:</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.</li>\n<li>Current state license as a Registered Nurse in good standing.</li>\n<li>ONS Provider Card required, OCN desirable.</li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years current nursing experience in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy, including patient assessment skills, venous access skill and emergency patient care.</li>\n<li>A minimum of 1-year previous specialized home health experience desired.</li>\n<li>CPR certification required.</li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Advantages – It Would be Advantageous to Have:</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of one-year previous specialized home health experience desired, Bilingual in Spanish desirable.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to learn and become competent with company used computer, telephone, and partner programs, where applicable (i.e. Office 365, Alayacare) and other programs utilized). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to learn and become competent with third-party referral platforms as needed (i.e. OncoEMR, EPIC) as needed to maintain efficient workflow. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Health Status Requirements:</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Appropriate immunizations current and TB screening (as required by policy). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Other State and Federal required health tests allowable by law. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Don’t have all of these requirements?</span> </p>\n<p>Some people are less likely to apply for a role unless they are 100% qualified.
