The Purchasing Manager will collaborate closely with the Logistics and Warehouse Manager and the Production Planning Manager to align purchasing activities with operational goals.</span><br><span style=\"font-size:inherit;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span><br></span><ul><li><strong>Team Leadership:</strong> Manage and mentor a team of direct and indirect buyers, providing guidance and support in their procurement activities to drive performance and professional growth.</li><li><strong>Commodity Management:</strong> Oversee sourcing and purchasing activities for EEE, Mechanical, and Optics and Photonics commodities, ensuring alignment with company strategies and objectives.</li><li><strong>Strategic Sourcing:</strong> Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of materials.</li><li><strong>Supplier Relationship Management:</strong> Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that enhance value and minimize risk.</li><li><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with the Logistics and Warehouse Manager and Production Planning Manager to ensure seamless integration of purchasing activities with supply chain operations.</li><li><strong>Performance Metrics:</strong> Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to purchasing activities, ensuring continuous improvement in procurement efficiency and effectiveness.</li><li><strong>Market Analysis:</strong> Conduct regular market assessments to stay informed on trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities, providing strategic recommendations to the Director of Supply Chain Management.</li><li><strong>Compliance and Risk Management:</strong> Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, mitigating risks associated with procurement activities.</li><li><strong>Budget Management:</strong> Collaborate with finance to manage and optimize the purchasing budget, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.</li></ul>"
