The right candidate can take ownership of their grinding work by expanding their abilities with grinding machines.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a <strong>1st shift</strong> position with a flexible start time of 6 AM on Monday- Friday. The goal to maintain a strong work-life balance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Benefits for the role include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>PTO</li>\n <li>Holidays</li>\n <li>Medical/Dental/Vision</li>\n <li>401k</li>\n <li>Various company events</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Set up, and operate CNC cylindrical grinders and some manual grinders</li>\n <li>Set wheels, tooling and tables</li>\n <li>Complete required work documents such as inspection sheets </li>\n <li>Complete successful first article inspections</li>\n <li>Maintain equipment, machines, and facilities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5 years’ experience, completion of a recognized CNC Programming/Machinist apprenticeship program, or equivalent combination of experience and education</li>\n <li>Experience with OD, ID, and Axial grinding</li>\n <li>Set up and operate CNC grinder machines</li>\n <li>Experience with Studer and/or UVA grinding machines</li>\n <li>Experience with complex contours</li>\n <li>Knowledge of inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gages, etc</li>\n <li>Ability to read, understand, and translate blueprints and job orders</li>\n <li>Knowledge of first article inspection</li>\n <li>Some G-code knowledge on Kellenberger </li>\n <li>Studer Win programming experience is a plus!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>AMC is an Equal Opportunity employer.
