This part-time clinician role may be the perfect fit for you! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This rewarding opportunity provides direct care on Saturdays from 3:00 to 11:30 p.m. at our housing site in Pontoon Beach, IL.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role will provide client-centered and client-driven services in client homes (group setting) that will focus on community support in apartment, conflict resolution, symptom management, group services/outings, and more. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping individuals in need.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Chestnut Health Systems is a leading provider of behavioral and primary health care services. Over four decades, Chestnut has grown to almost 800 committed, compassionate employees providing substance use, mental health, and primary care treatment to patients in Illinois and Missouri. We provide fully integrated care for all our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S.A.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>You’ll stay on top of the essential paperwork—like assessments and recovery plans—to make sure our clients receive the best care possible.</p></li>\n <li><p>We aim to have all treatment plans and assessments ready before they’re due to ensure there are no gaps in service.</p></li>\n <li><p>You’ll wrap up about 80% of your progress notes within two days of meeting with a client, keeping everyone’s records fresh and accurate.</p></li>\n <li><p>Every person is unique. You’ll provide support that’s tailored specifically to each client’s individual recovery and safety goals.</p></li>\n <li><p>You’ll manage a consistent schedule to meet productivity goals while ensuring every client gets the attention they deserve.</p></li>\n <li><p>You’ll handle the \"behind-the-scenes\" details, like getting service approvals and checking on housing referrals, so our clients can access the resources they need.</p></li>\n <li><p> We use a trauma-informed approach. This means leading with hope, respect, and empowerment to help clients feel connected and supported.</p></li>\n <li><p>You’ll use positive, recovery-focused language in both your written notes and your daily conversations with clients.</p></li>\n <li><p>You’ll act as a bridge, linking clients to vital resources like housing and substance use treatment.</p></li>\n <li><p>You’ll work closely with your teammates and the client’s own support network to create the best possible outcomes.</p></li>\n <li><p>We’re in this together. You’ll attend regular meetings to brainstorm ideas, back up your teammates when they need a hand, and take on leadership opportunities as you grow.</p></li>\n <li><p>You’ll use proven, evidence-based methods in your therapy sessions, whether you’re working with individuals, families, or groups.</p></li>\n <li><p>Whenever possible, you’ll provide services right in the community or in environments where the client feels most comfortable.</p></li>\n <li><p>We’ll help you stay sharp! You’ll complete regular trainings, earn CEUs, and participate in clinical supervision to keep your skills top-notch.</p></li>\n <li><p>You’ll maintain the highest level of confidentiality, ensuring that our clients' personal information is always protected.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have high school diploma or equivalent and be a Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) in good standing with the State of Illinois; </li>\n <li>OR have a Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, education, psychology or related human service field;</li>\n <li>OR have a Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, education, psychology or related human service field and be a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC); </li>\n <li>OR have a Master’s degree in counseling, social work, education, psychology or related human service field.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable (when applicable).</li>\n <li>Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and an electronic medical record (EMR).</li>\n <li>Satisfactory completion of Chestnut’s background checking process.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Are you intrigued by this job but don’t meet every single requirement?
