    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>\n<p>The Parts Coordinator is responsible for making sure materials are supplied to where they are needed in a timely manner. They will work with the Production Supervisor, Production Control Planner, and Technicians.</p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supply raw materials and parts to the production areas and technicians</li>\n <li>Transport finished goods and Work In Progress (WIP) from work location to work location</li>\n <li>Replace tools and consumables for technicians</li>\n <li>Update delivery status boards</li>\n <li>Properly pack materials and supplies to be moved</li>\n <li>Support development and creation of workstations and WIP racks</li>\n <li>Assist 5S, Continuous improvement, and lean activities </li>\n <li>Maintain inventory storage in a clean and orderly manner</li>\n <li>Uses Ramco Aviation Software for verifying records, posting, and other similar duties.</li>\n <li>Monitors shelf life of parts ensuring parts are pulled on a first in-first out basis.</li>\n <li>Process return to stock inventory from 145 work orders.  Process and manage repair and exchange inventories to and from 145 work orders.  (145 dept. only)</li>\n <li>Other Duties as Assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Job Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regular scheduled attendance</li>\n <li>Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling - 0%</li>\n <li>Work to be both office and shop environment</li>\n <li>Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs frequently and 25 lbs occasionally</li>\n <li>Fast paced environment that requires the employee to stand, walk, and lift</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Subject to applicable laws and Air Method’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position.  All employees must follow Air Methods’ employment practices and policies.</p>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>No direct supervision of employees</p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  In accordance with applicable laws, Air Methods will provide reasonable accommodations that do not create an undue burden so disabled employees may perform the essential functions of the position.</p>\n<p><strong>Education & Experience</strong></p>\n<p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 0 to 2 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience </p>\n<p><strong>Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions</li>\n <li>Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude</li>\n <li>Ability to set priorities</li>\n <li>Ability to perform in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment</li>\n <li>Understand basic manufacturing process and how the supply of inventory control interacts with upstream and downstream functions</li>\n <li>Service oriented actively looking for ways to support the team</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Computer Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Good computer skills and ability to query, monitor, and input ERP system data</li>\n <li>Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Powered Industrial Truck Certification Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Air Methods is an EEO/AA employer.
