    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Acuren Inspection is currently looking for qualified NDT Specialist to support  in Bellingham, Washington.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> Responsible for technical evaluation and inspection activities, client/customer service, personnel management, and effective communications.Multi-certified in RT/MT/PT/UT/PMI, or VT are a strong asset. A valid TWIC card is also preferred. </p>\n<p><strong>LOCATION REQUIREMENTS: </strong></p>\n<p>We are currently seeking local candidates based in Bellingham, Washington or the surrounding area, or individuals who are open to relocating. While we welcome applications from all qualified candidates, local availability or a willingness to relocate is preferred due to the nature of this role. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods (METHOD/S) of inspection</li>\n <li>Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations</li>\n <li>Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results</li>\n <li>Identify, track, manage and mitigate risk on specific client engagements. Escalate these issues when necessary to ensure minimal impact to quality, budget, and timeline.</li>\n <li>Review asset documentation and operational data; including inspection data, monitoring, and auditing associated NDE activities.</li>\n <li>Complete integrity assessments including physical site walkdowns when required.</li>\n <li>Prepare project reports including description of work done, conclusion and recommendations.</li>\n <li>Perform specialized inspections</li>\n <li>Must have experience developing techniques for approval by customer certifying agents.</li>\n <li>May instruct and supervise others.</li>\n <li>Other work duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Extensive knowledge of ASME and API requirements and procedures pertaining to the evaluation of applicable equipment for continued serviceability.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of industry health and safety policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Capable of interfacing with customers regarding schedules and problem solving.</li>\n <li>Ability to use applicable software and computer related equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li>\n <li>Some college preferred </li>\n <li>Technical background in NDT (METHOD/S; UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) and procedures with five years experience.</li>\n <li>Current NDT certifications in (METHOD/S; UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) required.</li>\n <li>Supervisory experience is a plus.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections</li>\n <li>Knowledge of NDT equipment </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance</li>\n <li>401K Plan</li>\n <li>Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off </li>\n <li>Pay Transparency: As per applicable state law the job posting pay range is $37.50 -$ 60.58 an hour depending on experience and applicable certifications</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Working Conditions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Outside environment with continuous physical effort, exposure to 5-7 elements/conditions, moderate mental effort, and occasional requests for assistance. </li>\n <li>Travel may be required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Job Requirements & Demands:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lifting/carrying by weight (50 pounds)  frequently may be equired. </li>\n <li>Mobility such as reaching, kneeling/crawling, bending/crouching, and frequency/duration in which action is required. </li>\n <li>Endurance such as sitting, standing, walking, climbing, or driving, and frequency/duration in which action is required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>Acuren is a trusted, single source provider of technology-enabled asset protection solutions used to evaluate the structural integrity of critical energy, industrial and public infrastructures.
