As a key ambassador of the hotel, you will serve as the primary connection between guests and the dynamic city of Calgary, ensuring that every interaction reflects the elegance and excellence of Fairmont Palliser. With your professionalism, keen attention to detail, and passion for curating memorable experiences, you will uphold the highest service standards, further solidifying Fairmont Palliser’s reputation as Calgary’s premier luxury destination. Reporting to the Chef Concierge.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p><ul><li>Serve as a visible and approachable lobby presence, providing exceptional guest service and acting as the primary liaison between Fairmont Palliser, its guests, and the city of Calgary.</li><li>Provide expert recommendations for dining, shopping, entertainment, cultural experiences, and local attractions, ensuring each suggestion is tailored to individual guest preferences.</li><li>Coordinate bookings and reservations for restaurants, tours, events, and activities, managing logistics to ensure seamless execution.</li><li>Maintain an extensive knowledge base of Calgary’s attractions, events, and hospitality offerings to enhance guest experiences.</li><li>Handle guest inquiries and requests with efficiency, ensuring prompt resolution and exceeding expectations.</li><li>Arrange transportation services, including private transportation bookings, taxis, and rental vehicles, ensuring prompt and reliable service.</li><li>Leverage hotel technology to log guest preferences, coordinate services, and track special requests through phone, email, and text communication.</li><li>Cater to VIP guests, demonstrating discretion and professionalism while curating personalized services to meet their specialized needs.</li><li>Foster strong relationships with local businesses, vendors, and service providers, ensuring preferred access and exclusive experiences for hotel guests.</li><li>Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally, implementing swift solutions to maintain guest satisfaction and loyalty.</li><li>Uphold the highest standards of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in all guest and colleague interactions.&#xa0;</li><li>Ensure compliance with Fairmont Hotels &amp; Accor policies, including health, safety, and ethical standards, to maintain a secure and professional work environment.</li></ul><p><em>Please note: This is a seasonal position with an end date of October 26, 2026.&#xa0;</em></p>",
