Our experience, technical expertise, and diverse projects in the wireless realm have allowed C Squared Systems to continually evolve as new technologies are developed and the demands of our customers change.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Description</strong></p><p>C Squared Systems is currently seeking a mid-level to senior-level RF Field Technician to join our team. One the main responsibilities for the Field Technician will be assisting with the installation and construction of various distributed antennas systems. The candidate will also become familiar with RF concepts and best practices and be exposed to a variety of test equipment. They will become an integral part of a team to ensure the systems are installed per the procedures and regulations mandated by the customer. The candidate must have previous construction experience and be very comfortable interacting with customers and co-workers on a daily basis. This is a hands-on position that requires the candidate to be on his/her feet throughout the day. Candidates have room for growth if they show exemplary performance, which can lead to a position of construction management for larger scale projects. This position will require the individual to be in the field 90% of the time. The candidate must be available to travel with potential overnight stays up to 50% of the time and be available for night shifts/weekends when needed. This is a full time hourly position with at least 40 hrs per week. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Installation of various coaxial cable types of various sizes (1/2&rdquo;, 1/4&rdquo; etc.).</li><li>Installation of various fiber cables and fiber heads (single/multi-mode, LC, SC, FC, ST, etc.).</li><li>Perform cable terminations and fusion splicing.</li><li>Perform a variety of testing such as sweep and PIM.</li><li>Work hands on with spectrum analyzers, transmitters, and other electronic test equipment.</li><li>Perform site surveys and in-depth walkthroughs.</li><li>Lead installation efforts, troubleshooting, and manage the construction tasks.</li><li>Communicate with customers, stakeholders and our cross-functional team.</li><li>Installation and repair of various DAS equipment from a variety of manufacturers.</li><li>Maintain test equipment and tools for continuous use.</li><li>Travel to various job sites with some overnight stay.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>3 to 4 years of general construction experience. Previous experience with DAS construction and other cellular systems is preferred.</li><li>General construction knowledge and know-how. Existing OSHA certifications are a plus.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret cabling diagrams and construction drawings.</li><li>Proficient with using various tools such as drills, saws, torque wrenches, crimpers, etc.</li><li>Experience fabricating various mounting setups (threaded rods, Unistrut etc.) and attaching them to various materials; drywall, wood, concrete.</li><li>High attention to detail and excellent ability to multi-task is crucial.</li><li>Has the desire to learn and advance within a technical field.</li><li>Proficient with using standard computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).</li><li>Comfortable working in the field and have availability for nights.</li><li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license with reliable transportation.</li></ul><p>May be required to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
