          "text": "<p><b>Position: Performance Test Engineer- Senior Level</b></p><p><b>Location: Greenbelt, MD</b></p><p><b>Contract Length: 6 month contract to hire </b></p><p><b></b></p><p><b><span>Required Years of EXP: 10 years</span></b></p><p><b><span></span></b></p><p><b><span>Locals to VA/MD/DC – Face to Face must</span></b><b><span></span></b></p><p><b></b></p><p><b>This does require candidates to get a Public Trust so requires them to have a GC or US Citizenship. </b></p><p><b>Description<span>        </span></b></p><ul><li>Is an expert at <span>measuring, analyzing, and optimizing the performance and scalability of web and mobile applications. You will work with architects and developers on large-scale, enterprise-level performance test projects. </span></li><li><span>Has tested systems in cloud, on-prem and hybrid environments</span></li><li><span>Understands web application and browser concepts (HTTP, connections, cookies, caching, streaming, etc.) </span></li><li><span>Knows how</span> to analyze performance requirements, translate into detailed test cases, and create your own test scripts<span></span></li><li>Can handle test data in various formats (JSON, XML, CSV, etc.) and you understand data storage, encoding, encryption, data transformation, and related concepts<span></span></li><li>Knows how to parameterize your scripts for load, spike, stress, and soak tests. <span></span></li><li>Familiar with APM tools and can explain what metrics they provide and what they mean<span></span></li><li>Works well independently and as part of a team<span></span></li><li>Is a creative and persistent problem solver<span></span></li></ul><p><b></b></p><p><b>Required Skills </b><b>Must have:</b></p><ul><li>Hands-on experience using performance test tools to develop scripts, monitor application/database/machine level performance, analyze performance metrics, troubleshoot errors/failures/bottlenecks, and prepare performance test dashboards and reports</li><li><span>At least 5 years of experience in Java/C development or other software development experience</span></li><li><span>D</span>eep knowledge of how web applications work over HTTP protocol.<span></span></li></ul><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Minimum 5 years of experience using automated test tools for Functional and/or Performance, Stability, Scalability, and Reliability testing using LoadRunner, WebTest, JMeter, Watir, Fit, FitNesse, Ruby or others</span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Minimum 5 years of object oriented programming experience, with C#, Java, Ruby, or C++</span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Minimum 5 years SQL experience and an ability to write intermediate to complex SQL code</span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Experience on any performance testing tool (HP Performance Center, JMeter, VSTS, etc.)</span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools New Relic APM, App Dynamics, Compuware APM (Dynatrace)</span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Experience with diagnostics tools to identify root cause like HP diagnostics</span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Hands-on experience performance testing mobile (iOS/Android) applications</span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Experience in both Windows and UNIX environments</span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Strong written, oral, and presentation skills</span></p><p><span><span>·<span>         </span></span></span><span>Excellent communication and customer facing skills</span></p><p><b></b></p><p><b>Technologies and Tools:</b></p><ul><li>HP LoadRunner, HP UFT, JMeter, Perfecto Mobile, AppDynamics; Proficient with Java and/or C# and a scripting language</li></ul><p><b></b></p><p><b>Experience: </b></p><ul><li>Seeking ten (10) years of experience performing software development activities, with a Bachelor’s Degree, or eight (8) years of experience with a Master’s Degree</li></ul>",
