Our mission is to provide an exceptional employee experience, award-winning customer service, long-term value to our investors, and enhance our local communities.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Maintenance Technician II</strong><strong> - </strong><strong>SkyHouse River Oaks Luxury Apartment Homes</strong><strong> (a premier class A 352-unit high-rise community located in the River Oaks District between Downtown and Uptown) – Houston, TX</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>We are proud to have been voted by our employees as a 2024 - 2026 USA Best Workplace in </strong><strong>USA TODAY</strong><strong> </strong><strong>and as a 2024 and 2025 Top 15 workplace in the </strong><strong>Real Estate Industry</strong><strong>!</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a key member of our property maintenance team, you will be responsible for:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintaining and preserving a multi-million dollar luxury community ensuring a quality living experience for our residents</li>\n <li>Utilizing your troubleshooting and technical skills to identify and resolve issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water, swimming pools and security systems</li>\n <li>Developing a strong rapport with residents and assisting them with resolving various general maintenance issues (appliances, flooring, cabinets, locks, drywall, etc.) in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Working closely with the service team, you will help prepare vacant apartment units ensuring they are ready to lease to prospective residents per company specifications</li>\n <li>Helping the service team maintain a strong curb appeal at the property</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>1+ years of related general maintenance experience</li>\n <li>General knowledge and experience with HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair and basic carpentry</li>\n <li>CPO certification required (can be obtained after hire)</li>\n <li>Fair housing training required and CAMT (Apartment Maintenance) certification preferred</li>\n <li>Some experience with MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook)</li>\n <li>Strong customer service skills</li>\n <li>At times, will be required to be on call</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>What Simpson Can Offer You:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As an industry leader, we understand what it takes to be successful in today’s competitive marketplace.
