    "description": "<p><strong><em>Program: Women&#39;s REACH</em></strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong><em>Position: Women&#39;s Recovery Navigator</em></strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong><em>Location: Middletown</em></strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong><em>Salary: $22.00/hour</em></strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong><em>Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours, 1st shift,&nbsp;Monday-Friday</em></strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Position Summary:</u></p>\r\n\r\n<p>The Women&rsquo;s Recovery Navigator, will be a self-identified woman in recovery who has maintained a minimum of 2 years sobriety, will deliver comprehensive outreach and engagement services including education, advocacy, coaching and mentorship to pregnant and parenting women choosing to work with a navigator, will have the willingness to share lived experience to help other women in their recovery journey, to act as a &ldquo;boundary spanner&rdquo; to link clients to essential community services and to demonstrates &ldquo;cultural curiosity&rdquo; and willingness to deliver services in a culturally responsive manner.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Working within Adult Services, the Family Recovery Navigator works with our Women&rsquo;s REACH program staff to provide essential outpatient services to families and adults facing mental health and substance use complexities.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Requirements:</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>High School Diploma and successful completion of a recovery-oriented training program (within 2 months of hire). If previously completed, must provide documentation of such program.</li>\r\n\t<li>Valid Connecticut Driver&rsquo;s License</li>\r\n\t<li>Regular and predictable attendance is required</li>\r\n\t<li>Bilingual/Spanish speaking preferred</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Orientation: </u></p>\r\n\r\n<p>If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Benefits:</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Medical, dental, vision benefits are offered along with other additional voluntary coverages with full time employment</li>\r\n\t<li>403(b) retirement plan with employer matching contribution</li>\r\n\t<li>Company paid short and long term disability and life insurance with full time employment</li>\r\n\t<li>Paid time off (vacation, personal and sick) with full time employment</li>\r\n\t<li>12 paid holidays</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><em>The Connection is a statewide human services and community development agency that provides unique solutions to the problems of homelessness, mental illness, substance use, improving child welfare and community justice rehabilitation.
