The Emergency Management Professional - Education Services will be responsible for the preparation, delivery, evaluation, and assessment of courses that they are assigned to.</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"color: #003680\">Education Services includes the provision of training expertise to fulfill client needs.</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"color: #003680\">Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for this role. Certification for assigned courses must be attained and maintained by this individual. Mentoring opportunities are available to successful incumbents to further broaden their teaching credentials. Success will be measured using multiple variables including but not limited to customer satisfaction and</span><span style=\"color: #003680\"> the number of courses delivered.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #003680\">Responsibilities & Duties: </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">An Emergency Management Professional assigned to the role of education services will be required to fulfil the following responsibilities and duties:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"color: #003680\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Responsibility: Attain and maintain certification for courses they wish to deliver.</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Responsibility: Maintain 95% customer satisfaction rating.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Responsibility: From time-to-time act as a subject matter expert to contribute to the design and development of newly developed curriculum. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Responsibility: Maintain excellent working relationships with course participants.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Responsibility: Manage the successful delivery of courses for the time period allocated for each course.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Duties: Ensuring all certifications and qualifications concerning the Courses offered by CDRO are input in CDRO’s BambooHR profile.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Duties: Preparation for the delivery of course materials. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Duties: Ensuring all assets required for the delivery of a course are available, and tested, including but not limited to exercises, exercise materials (post-it-notes, markers, flip chart paper<span>,</span> etc.) technology such as Zoom, Teams, Goto Webinar or any other video conference-based software. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Duties: Delivery of course materials in a manner that is engaging for the participant and includes a broad approach for the delivery of both theoretical, practical, meaningful, and relevant content. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Duties: Ensuring exam materials are collated, accounted for, and accurately assessed in a timely manner. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span></span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Duties: All post course activities are completed including student evaluations, course evaluations, and summary of the overall delivery of the course in a timely manner. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #003680\">Qualifications: </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or Social Science; and/or diploma</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Certificates awarded by ICS Canada and or EMO to demonstrate teaching capacity. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">5+ years of experience in adult education & emergency management</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003680; font-size: 13px\">· </span><span style=\"color: #003680\">Must enjoy presenting information in front of large audiences and have a passion for people.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"color: #003366;
