          "text": "<p>CEDA is looking to hire Labourer for a project in our Fort McMurray, AB location.&#xa0;CEDA&#xa0;will be working with one of their clients to reassemble their entire dredge, as well as assemble a marina and an electrical barge on site.</p><p>The Labourer supports daily field operations by performing a variety of hands-on tasks and operating equipment safely and efficiently. They assist with site preparation, equipment maintenance, and process operations while upholding safety and housekeeping standards. This is a site-based position reporting to the Foreman.</p><p><strong>***We are proactively building a candidate pool for a potential upcoming project. Recruitment activity will progress based on project confirmation***</strong></p><p><strong>What we offer</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Shift:</strong>&#xa0;14/7 rotation, 12-hour days</li><li><strong>Overtime Eligible</strong></li><li>Accommodation provided</li><li>Direct flights to client&#xa0;site via from Edmonton or Calgary</li><li>A supportive team culture where&#xa0;<strong>safety, integrity, and accountability</strong>&#xa0;are at the core of everything we do</li></ul><p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Assist dredging crew with day-to-day operational tasks on land and marine-based work sites</li><li>Support mobilization and demobilization of dredging equipment and infrastructure</li><li>Assist the millwrights with building the dredge</li><li>Participate in daily toolbox talks, weekly safety meetings, safety tours, and CEDA’s ICE card program</li><li>Move, load, and unload materials such as pipe, hoses, fittings, geotextile, and tools</li><li>Handle sand, slurry, tailings, and other dredged materials as directed</li><li>Support trenching, backfilling, and grading activities around dredge lines</li><li>Follow all site safety rules, PPE requirements, and safe work procedures</li><li>Assist maintenance crews with parts handling and job setup</li></ul><p><strong>Role Specifications</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of labour or field experience (industrial or construction environment preferred)</li><li>Experience supporting millwrights and working with tools and equipment preferred</li><li>Proven rigging experience, including lifting, moving, and securing loads using cranes, hoists, and slings (rigging certification preferred)</li><li>Valid CSO certification or equivalent (CSTS-09 and OSSA Regional/BSO)</li><li>Comfortable working on or near open water</li></ul>",
