    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p style='margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:0in;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;line-height:115%;' data-pasted=\"true\"><span style='font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;font-weight:bold;'><u><span style='font-size:24px;line-height:115%;font-family:\"AktivGrotesk-Regular\",sans-serif;'>Mechanical Engineer</span></u></span></p><p style='margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:0in;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;line-height:115%;'><span style='font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><span style='font-size:16px;line-height:115%;font-family:\"AktivGrotesk-Regular\",sans-serif;'>&nbsp;</span></span></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><br></p><p>Responsible for Mechanical Engineering responsibilities of a given project including system design, project planning, development and tracking of budgets, customer interface, and establishing and monitoring schedules.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p>&bull; Design and develop electro-mechanical and/or material handling systems in accordance with National codes and standards.</p><p>&bull; Create and modify concept drawings, detailed design, assembly and fabrication drawings; BOMs; O&amp;M manuals; and other related design documentation</p><p>&bull; Generate 2D and 3D designs using Solid Works and/or AutoCad/Inventor</p><p>&bull; Interact with sales team, assisting with system proposals and scope review (concept drawings, costing, etc.)</p><p>&bull; Interact with a cross-disciplinary engineering team (mechanical, electrical, software, imaging) to review, define, and design integrated system solutions to meet requirements of worldwide customers</p><p>&bull; Must be experienced in the design of mechanical systems, write design specifications for the purchase of equipment.</p><p>&bull; Produce design calculations to verify design</p><p>&bull; Travel to customer sites worldwide to participate in concept and technical discussions, kick off meetings, oversee installations, or trouble shoot.</p><p>&bull; Potential travel to sister facilities within the US and in India, China and France to work with team on current or future projects, as required.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Skills:</strong></p><p>&bull; Degree in Mechanical Engineering.</p><p>&bull; 3 to 5 years of Electro-mechanical and/or mechanical systems design experience.</p><p>&bull; Superior written and verbal communication skills</p><p>&bull; Expertise in 3D CAD tools. Solid Works strongly preferred; AutoCad acceptable.</p><p>&bull; Prior experience in a QA controlled design environment. (ISO 9000, NQA-1, or similar)</p><p>&bull; Working knowledge of pneumatic controls</p><p>&bull; Experience writing design specifications</p><p>&bull; Familiarity with motion control products and standard motor/gearbox components</p><p>&bull; Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and problem solving abilities</p><p>&bull; Must be highly organized and self motivated</p><p>&bull; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Tools</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Non-Essential Skills:</strong></p><p>&bull; Ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment</p><p>&bull; Experience with machine tooling disciplines and techniques desirable</p><p>&bull; Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project preferred, Primavera)</p><p>&bull; X-ray imaging system experience a plus but not required</p><p>&bull; Familiarity in the fundamentals of Ethernet and networking</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical &amp; Mental Demands:</strong></p><p>&bull; Regularly required to sit and use computer equipment for prolonged periods of time to create and revise designs, Bills of Materials, and related design documentation.</p><p>&bull; Will be required to sit, stand, walk, bend and work within and around systems in an industrial environment.</p><p>&bull; Need to repeatedly use hands to finger, handle, feel and operate hand tools, power tools, and related standard industrial production and office equipment.</p><p>&bull; Could be required to lift, move, carry, and/or maneuver materials up to 50 pounds alone; heavier with assistance.</p><p>&bull; May need to work or traverse upon ladders and/or elevated heights with proper safety gear.</p><p>&bull; Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.</p><p>&bull; Expected to effectively communicate in person, on phone, and via email and other electronic devices on a continual and repetitive basis.</p><p>&bull; Domestic and international travel via air, rail, and car.</p><p>&bull; Able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.</p><p>This position has been deemed a Safety Sensitive position.</p><p>The responsibilities and skills noted within this job description are not all inclusive and are subject to change.</p><p><br></p><p>EEO/VETs/AAP</p></div></div></div>\n",
