The Team Leader manages daily operations, project execution, and staff development while supporting group-wide goals related to quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is an experienced traffic design professional with strong communication and organizational skills who thrives in leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring technical staff.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and manage a project team responsible for traffic design and production</li>\n <li>Serve as a day-to-day resource for technical guidance, mentorship, and problem-solving.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to allocate resources effectively.</li>\n <li>Conduct regular staff meetings, workload planning, and project progress reviews.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with DOT, AASHTO, and company standards on all deliverables.</li>\n <li>Review and approve project plans, specifications, and reports for accuracy and completeness.</li>\n <li>Participate in performance reviews and support staff professional development plans.</li>\n <li>Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation.</li>\n <li>Assist Group Leaders with business development and proposal efforts as needed.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.</li>\n <li>Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.</li>\n <li>10+ years of progressive experience in traffic design and project management.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to lead and develop project teams.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of TXDOT and municipal standards.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
