These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>\n<p>The goal of this position is to demonstrate maximum efficiency across the network of manufacturing facilities,</p>\n<p>continuously assessing critical processes and systems in Pactiv Evergreen and implementing programs that will have</p>\n<p>long-term benefits. From these technical assessments, develop and implement targeted plans that address gaps in the</p>\n<p>facilities. As our manufacturing technology, automation and opportunity for optimization increases, we must transfer</p>\n<p>knowledge, network and leverage best practices within our manufacturing sites as we continue to develop a Lean</p>\n<p>Management System to run our facilities, as well as optimize plant performance by ensuring a flawless implementation</p>\n<p>of the OPX360.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>· Develop plans, schedules, and budgets for projects to improve existing processes and to support the OPX360.</p>\n<p>· Identify, prioritize and execute continuous improvement activities through standardization and consistency.</p>\n<p>· Supports lean improvement process with techniques such as Kaizen.</p>\n<p>· Identify cost savings through research or product requirements, manufacturing methods and equipment</p>\n<p>modifications.</p>\n<p>· Improve manufacturing organization by analyzing workflow, space requirements and equipment layout with the</p>\n<p>goal of cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.</p>\n<p>· Bridge the gap between technical and operational teams, executing a range of CI solutions that move</p>\n<p>operations beyond current state to the next level of efficiency.</p>\n<p>· Identify and manage resources, internal and external, that are needed to execute the targeted skills</p>\n<p>development.</p>\n<p>· Has knowledge in the areas of: 5S, SMED, TPM, VSM, PDCA or equivalent, A3 Problem Solving.</p>\n<p>· Ensure adherence to Lean Methodology, including Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, Daily Management, Layered</p>\n<p>Audit Process and Business Plan development to eliminate waste.</p>\n<p>· Other job duties as assigned by the Facility Manager and CI Director.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills and Competencies</strong></p>\n<p> · Proven ability to facilitate change. · Strong organizational skills to include Tracking, coordination across multiple programs, effective reporting of status and results to both Plant management and senior management. · Experience working across multiple locations at one time · Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of statistical methods and process improvement techniques. · Effective communication skills (written and verbal), team building and leadership skills with all levels in the organization. · Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus · Must have Microsoft Office experience with advanced Excel Skills.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Experience Requirements (Qualifications)</strong></p>\n<p>· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.</p>\n<p>· 5+ years of plant experience in technical or management roles</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements and Work Environment: (if applicable)</strong></p>\n<p>· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other</p>\n<p>federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.</p>\n<p>· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and</p>\n<p>local standards.</p>\n<p>· The team member is required to be able to perform the above tasks, with or without reasonable</p>\n<p>accommodation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-TM1</p>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
