As part of our commitment to whole-home electrification, we are expanding our Energy Services team to include high-efficiency HVAC systems, with a focus on heat pump technology. We are seeking a skilled HVAC Sales and Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair high-efficiency HVAC systems, including heat pumps, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency for our customers. Position Overview: As an HVAC Sales and Service Technician specializing in high-efficiency HVAC systems, you will play a critical role in our mission to provide sustainable, energy-efficient solutions. You will diagnose, service, and maintain residential high-efficiency HVAC systems. We understand you may be a great candidate without fitting all our preferred experience, knowledge, skills, and attributes. Key Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including heat pump systems, in residential properties. Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and efficiency assessments on high-efficiency HVAC systems. Work with customers to educate them on system operation and energy savings related to high-efficiency HVAC. Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards for all HVAC installations and services. Maintain detailed service records and reports for all HVAC work. Keep detailed records of customer calls and service visits. Maintain professional rapport with customers and be respectful of their homes and property. Communicate professionally with homeowners on the job site. Communicate professionally with FSP office staff. Provide excellent customer service and support for high-efficiency HVAC systems. Contribute to the growth and development of the HVAC division, with opportunities to take on leadership and strategic planning responsibilities. Qualifications: EPA Certification Strong understanding of HVAC electrical and refrigerant systems for high-efficiency units. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail for high-efficiency equipment. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience with smart home energy management systems related to high-efficiency HVAC Ability to lift 75+ pounds
